EFFECTIVE HAZID FACILITATOR TRAINING FOR PETRONAS (2015 & 2016)

Due to ageing offshore/onshore facilities, Petronas is required to do a lot of minor retrofit work to improve its processes and operability so that production could continue. However, safety is always the first and foremost area of concern that needs to be reviewed prior to undertaking these jobs.

Hence, Petronas requires more internal resources to be capable to perform risk and hazard identification for these jobs using their in-house HAZID methodology. For that matter, Petronas had approached us to formulate and deliver training session to coach participants to become effective HAZID facilitators. The training was designed to prepare the right mindset, to improve the communication skill and to learn the right techniques to facilitate such HAZID workshop effectively. It was also developed with a more hands-on approach to ensure comprehensive understanding of the guidewords and risk assessment methodology based on the Petronas Technical Standards (PTS).
